An HVAC Technician, or a Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Technician, diagnoses and repairs various air quality systems. Their main duties include locating and diagnosing maintenance problems on equipment, conducting warranty services, performing preventative maintenance, and quickly performing emergency repairs on certain equipment items.
Sheet metal mechanics are responsible for laying out drawings and reading the blueprints to install the duct work for commercial locations. They must know how to piece together the duct work and install it according to specifications and make sure the install works efficiently with the HVAC equipment installed.
Sheet metal apprentices work alongside sheet metal installers and learn the trade. They will learn how to lay out and understand the drawings of the building and learn how to install the duct work accordingly. These employees will often help retrieve materials for the install and they will assist in any needs that the lead mechanic may need for the specific job.
Sheet metal mechanics work in the sheet metal shop to fabricate ductwork, vent hoods, and other metal additions for HVAC mechanical equipment with machinery. They are responsible for reading blueprints and following the plans to construct the materials specific to each job.
Warehouse workers are responsible for the logistics and operations of the warehouse for all departments at C&R. They maintain the warehouse in an orderly fashion, receive shipments and perform all proper documentation, assist in pulling materials for jobs to be delivered, and monitor the status of stocked materials for reordering items to keep in stock.
Drivers will work hand in hand with the warehouse workers to review job material lists and load the materials onto the truck. The drivers are responsible for taking the materials and delivering them to other employees on the site of the job. Also, drivers are responsible for going to pick up various equipment and parts from distribution centers to deliver back to the warehouse or to jobsite locations.

Hook-up technicians are responsible for setting new units for residential construction jobs, wiring up the unit to low voltage electricity, and connecting the refrigerant lines. They must check the refrigerant charges of the unit and make sure that it is in working order for startup

Requirements
- A Minimum of 1 Year Apprentice Experience
- Strong Communication and People Skills
